Experimental:

System E - (1.0 mmol/L EDTA / dist. water),
System Cu02/05/10 - (0.2/0.5/1.0 mmol/L CuCl2 / dist. water),
System (Cu02/05/10+E) - (0.2/0.5/1.0 mmol/L CuCl2 + 1.0 mmol/L EDTA / dist. water),
System (Cu02+E) - (0.2 mmol/L CuCl2 + 1.0 mmol/L EDTA + 10 mmol/L KCl/ dist. water)


Results:

Fingerprints

System E: At pH 3.6/12.4, 53%/98% of the COOH-groups from EDTA have been deprotonated.
System Cu02/05/10: The forming of Cu(OH)2 between pH 6.5 and 7.5.

Systemprint

System (Cu02/05/10+E): The stable Cu-EDTA-complex at pH 2.7 and the rearrangement after pH 3.0 to a [Cu(OH)EDTA]-2-complex.

Systemprint with Additive, helps you to check the influence of an Additive

System (Cu02+E): No extra van der Waals interactions could be shown after the addition of KCl.
